Score this one online. However, the size of the magazine pouch on the SERPA sucks. It’s way to big for the 1911 .45 Mag.

Quick Comparison vs Marketing Shot

A quick snap from my compact for quick comparison vs the marketing photo.

The color is more towards the marketing pic color. My compact flash whiten the actual shot by a lot.

Quality wise very comparable to ACI’s boots. The laces are however dark brown not the yellowish tan from the marketing pic. Fit Hot Toys Nude Feet firmly without any problem. Quality is way better than any Soldier Story’s boots.

I preorder the grey one for variation. This one will be fitted to my CIA bash.

Will do another round of better shoot when I have the time

Just got into 1:6 hobby a couple of months back.
First figure was a boxed HT. It was cool but the lack of mags got me into buying
loose mags to fill up the pouches and then, I was seduced by the dark side.

The lure of finding loose stuff and customizing one was more satisfying (but hit hard on the wallet) than just buying a box.
Starting late, I had to hunt around for basic stuff even like nudes unless I don’t mind paying a hefty 50% premium.

Here’s my almost done work in progress kit bash.
And Yes! it’s my first kit bash. Kit Bash is where one ‘build’ a figure from loose parts found from various boxed set.

Hot Toys Rant

The Ak74 that comes with Hot Toys Chris Redfield is not perfect.
The cocking handle on the right is missing. Here’s the real thing.

Here’s the marketing image from Hot Toys missing the cocking handle and fire selection lever.

The AK74 fire selection lever is there on the official release but it’s loose. so be careful not to lose it. position the lever all the way up, it’s on safe. in the middle, is full auto and all the way down for semi-auto.

The SIG 556 bottom Picatinny rail is loose and can’t be snapped fit.
Had to super glue it. Also, I think Hot Toys cut corners here on the mag. It’s very short compare to an HT M4 Mag. It looks ok inserted though

I bought 2 Truetype nude (1 Special and 1 Narrow). after 1 month of standing straight, both the right knees joint became loose to the point that the figure can’t stand on its own.
